Our patients at MCH are all superheroes!

Superheroes have taken over Monash Children’s Hospital!

Our friends at The Supertee Project came to visit our patients today to give them their very own Supertee.

They were joined by Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Supergirl and Harley Quinn, who helped transform our patients into superheroes!

The Supertee is a children’s medical garment designed by Jason Sotiris and his best friend Yusuf Muklis that is X-RAY and MRI friendly, providing comfort and building courage for young patients.

Jason created Supertee when his daughter Angela was hospitalised with a rare cancer after her first birthday, and he struggled to change her hospital gown. The superhero theme was inspired by Jason’s three year old son who dressed up as Batman to save his younger sister.

Thank you to Supertee for generously donating over 100 Supertee’s, and to Kym, Mark and James for raising the funds to provide our patients with 40 supertees and remind them that they are all superheroes.
