Videofluoroscopy is completed on site for the assessment of swallowing difficulties.

Monash Children’s Hospital Acute Speech Pathology service only accepts referrals from within Monash Health. Referrals can be made via EMR for inpatients and SMR e-Referral for outpatients.
Videofluoroscopy
Patients presenting with dysphagia can be referred to Speech Pathology for Videofluoroscopy.
Videofluoroscopy is completed on site for the assessment of swallowing difficulties.
If the referral is from a Speech Pathologist, please also include a signed referral from the GP to access radiology services.
