New cancer diagnosis initiative

 In Latest News

Diagnosing childhood cancer could soon become easier following the Federal Government giving six million dollars for a data collection project, it will help doctors detect cancer quicker and more accurately through analysing notes taken from GP’s and hospitals and flagging any early warning signs. The new initiative will also help a range of other health conditions such as detecting the risk of thunderstorm asthma or how well the yearly flu vaccine is working.

An amazing endorsement of the research partnership between The Alfred, Eastern Health, Peninsula Health, Monash University, Hudson Institute of Medical Research, Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, Burnet Institute, Cabrini Health Australia and Epworth HealthCare.
