Channel 9 My Room Telethon launches at MCH
Today we celebrated the launch of the Channel 9 My Room Telethon at Monash Children’s Hospital!
My Room – Children’s Cancer Charity is a volunteer organisation dedicated to raising funds to achieve a 100 per cent cure rate for childhood cancers.
We were joined by Shane Crawford and Livinia Nixon, who hosted the launch of the annual fundraising event, which has raised millions of dollars over the past three years to support our Children’s Cancer Centre.
Daniel Shaw from this season of The Voice Australia opened the show with a beautiful performance.
Our favourite players from Carlton Football Club and North Melbourne Football Club visited our patients on the ward along with contestants from LEGO Masters Australia and Ninja Warrior!
This year Simonds and Satterley Property Group have partnered with My Room to sponsor the Telethon and generously donate the Home for a Cure house and land package in Mickleham that will be auctioned on Saturday 24 August.
