Special visitor lights up our new dandelion installation

Channel Ten weather presenter, Mike Larkan visited Monash Children’s Hospital for a special edition weather live cross in July.

Mike is known for presenting the weather in various locations around Melbourne, and he jumped at the chance to visit our new hospital.

Moose Toys have been great supporters of the hospital, their latest gift was the installation of a large dandelion that lights up at night!

Mike and a few special patients made a wish, blowing as hard as they could until the dandelion lit up.

The dandelion is our reminder that at the Monash Children’s Hospital, we make wishes come true every day.
