“I find it very rewarding to work with the children, often the kids want to talk to you and it’s nice to cheer them up during their hospital stay. I have established some great friends at the hospital and I really enjoy having lunch with my volunteer friends after my shift.”

Pat King has been a Child Life Therapy Volunteer for 23 years. Once a week she helps the Child Life Therapy team by making fresh play doh for the children, cleaning toys for the children and packing special awareness bags for the kinder children that visit the hospital.
