At Monash Health, our specialist Monash Children’s Hospital service already receives recognition on the world stage and has done so for many years.

And with the Victorian Government’s long-term vision of a holistic tertiary service for all Victorian children, it will soon be our time to shine here at home in Victoria, Australia.

We feel privileged and thrilled to be building a world-class 230-bed hospital which will ensure more children in Victoria’s south east will have access to our impressive service close to their homes when they are in need of specialist care.

We have been given a unique opportunity to plan a service from the ground up, incorporating the latest thinking on children’s health. Together with the Victorian Government, we are consulting widely and seeking to involve young people and their families in every level of decision-making.

Victoria’s new Monash Children’s Hospital will be co-located with Monash Medical Centre in Clayton and our new Monash Health Translation Precinct which will bring breakthroughs in health research to our patients.

This website will give you a glimpse into one of this State’s most exciting and important developments, and also explain how you can be involved. From philanthropy and fundraising, through to sharing views along the way, we are looking forward to working with the many wonderful communities in the south east of the state.

With your help, the Victorian Government’s firm support, and strong community involvement, we will deliver an outstanding new hospital for Victoria’s south east.
